A 31-year-old Stratford man was arrested on a PRAWN warrant early Tuesday morning after police said they spotted the man walking down Hollister Street with an air conditioner on top of a bike.
Charles Manzlak allegedly told police he got the unit from a dumpster at McDonald's and planned to sell its parts as scrap metal.
Dispatch notified the officer on scene that Manzlak had an outstanding PRAWN warrant for second-degree failure to appear with a $500 bond, police said.
The original charges against Manzlak were failure to display plates, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension and operating an unregistered vehicle.
He was unable to post bond.
