Mosquitoes and Shakespeare

Along with a little culture comes a possible life saving benefit.
Whenever there is an outdoor performance on the Shakespeare Theater grounds the mosquito population surrounding the adjacent marsh is decimated. The residents in the area can call the various town departments requesting the marsh be sprayed for mosquitoes till they're blue in the face, spring through fall, and get a run around about Federal wetlands being off limits to spraying, the town isn't allowed to spray, etc. That's until something is scheduled at the theater, then, voilà, no more mosquitoes for a week or two, like magic.
