Thank you for Supporting the Stratford Cat Project

Thank you for Supporting Stratford Cat Project:

On behalf of the volunteers and rescued kitties of The Stratford Cat Project, I  would like to extend our special thanks to all who supported, attended or donated to our recent fundraiser at 99 Restaurant, Stratford, CT.  The fundraiser had a dual purpose:  (1) to help raise money for vet and medical costs for our rescued kitties; and  (2) to help fill our food pantry, both for our in-house kitties and for distribution to those who have fallen on hard times and are facing difficulties caring for their pets.

Thanks to the generosity of the folks at Stratford’s 99 Restaurant, I am happy to report that our fundraiser was a huge success.   We raised money for our rescued cats, and so many of our supporters brought cat food donations.

The event could not have been a success without the help and assistance of the Stratford 99 Restaurant.  A portion of each patron’s check was donated to our cause.  I would like to extend our thanks to John, manager of 99, as well as to all of the wait staff and servers, who worked right along with us to make our event a success.  Without the help and support of businesses in the community, such as 99 Restaurant, the next step in SCP’s  journey of finding “furever” homes for so many homeless, abandoned and abused animals would not be possible!  On behalf of SCP and the over 3,500 cats we have rescued/rehomed to date, we extend a special thank you to all of our supporters, but most especially to John and his staff at 99 Restaurant.   The next time you’re headed out for lunch or dinner, please patronize 99 Restaurant!!  Not only is the food terrific and the staff friendly and helpful, this is one Stratford business that gives back to the community.

With gratitude,
