Meet Cally and Duke!
These two wonderful cats had been living in the Stratford Cat Project's foster care for approximately 3 years.
Because of their age (approximately 8-9 years old,) and because they were somewhat shy, these kitties had been overlooked at many of our adoption events.
However, just about a month ago, two animal "angels" came to one of our events and gravitated immediately to Cally and Duke.
The adopters were able to look past their age and just accept these beautiful cats for who they are.
We are so happy to report that both Cally and Duke are doing great in their "furever" home. Thank you so much to our adopters for having the love and patience to welcome these kitties into their home.
A huge thank you to Sue, their foster Mom, who kept them safe and warm until they could find their forever home.
Please consider adopting an older kitty; these poor souls so deserve a second chance at finding their forever home. I'm so proud to be a member of SCP. Our volunteers dedicate countless hours for the benefit and well-being of our cats and kittens.
I agree - an older cat can be the perfect companiont for many people. Older cats tend to be well behaved, self-sufficient, and enjoy the company of their humans. And they will appreciate you for life!
