The Stratford Library Children’s Department will hold a special “Jedi Readers Unite” Bookfair Fundraiser at the Barnes & Noble of Milford with a percentage of purchases directly benefiting the Children’s Department. The fundraiser will kick-off with a Star Wars themed family game night on Friday, November 22 from 6 to 8 pm. The evening will include face painting, origami, crafts, a scavenger hunt and a costume parade with special games for younger children. At 6:15 pm, Magician Jay Reidy will present a 20 minute magic show.
Using the Library’s Bookfair ID# (11211307) at checkout, Library patrons can shop November 22-27 at Barnes & Noble of Milford or at Barnes & Noble online.
