Revisit Downton Abbey at the Stratford Library

Anglophiles rejoice!  The Stratford Library will present a weekly series screening episodes of the phenomenally popular BBC series, “Downton Abbey”, beginning Saturday, November 16 at 2 pm.  The most recent episodes will be screened on weekly Saturdays through December in anticipation of the series’ fourth season beginning on U.S. television in January 2014.  The program is free and open to the public.

Two, one-hour episodes of the series will be screened uncut and on widescreen each Saturday afternoon beginning at 2 pm in the Library Lovell Room.  It will run November 16 through December 28, 2013.  Selected episodes will be introduced by award-winning actress and recorded books reader Davina Porter of Westport.  Complimentary tea and cookies will also be served.
