Playground Carnival

The Stratford Recreation Department is sponsoring a Carnival
to raise money for Bridgeport Hospital’s Burn Victims Unit. Bridgeport Hospital
is a non-profit acute care hospital. The Dr. Andrew and Henrietta Panettieri
Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital is the state’s only Burn Center in
Connecticut. The burn victims unit helps pay the costs for people lacking
insurance after being burned, and donates to local programs to help educate
children and families about burns and its severity.

 The Carnival will
take place on Wednesday, August 7 at Boothe Memorial Park with a rain date set
for Thursday, August 8. The Stratford Recreation Department is asking for your
help in making this event the most successful it can be.  $1 admission, $10 wristbands. Come out and bring the kids for a fun day and a worthy cause
