Flu Clinic Every Thursday starting October 24th!

“Don’t wait ‘til it’s too late to
fight the flu!” says Stratford Health Department’s Nursing Supervisor, Bernice
Bova.  Every Thursday starting October 24, 2013 from 1 to 4 pm while
supply lasts, the Stratford Health Department will host weekly flu clinics for
all residents aged 6 months and older.

All residents are encouraged to get
the vaccine.  No appointment is
necessary.  Medicare Part B, Anthem
BC/BS, and Connecticare will be accepted insurance with a $0 fee.  All others will be charged $25.00 for the
influenza vaccine or flumist, payable by cash or check.

Getting a flu shot is a safe way to
prevent possible flu-related complications.
For more information, contact Bernice Bova, RN at the Stratford Health
Department: (203) 385-4058 or e-mail bbova@townofstratford.com.
