Scott Turow's Bestseller is Next Book Talk at the Stratford Library

The Stratford Library “Books Over Coffee” program finishes its 2014 winter/spring series with a discussion of Scott Turow's latest bestseller, Identical, on Wednesday, June 25th at noon.  The monthly program, free and open to the public, is hosted by Stratford educator and author Kathleen Faggella.

State Senator Paul Giannis is a candidate for Mayor of Kindle County. His identical twin brother Cass is newly released from prison, 25 years after pleading guilty to the murder of his girlfriend, Dita Kronon. When Evon Miller, an ex-FBI agent who is the head of security for the Kronon family business, and private investigator Tim Brodie begin a re-investigation of Dita's death, a complex web of murder, sex, and betrayal-as only Scott Turow could weave-dramatically unfolds...

“Books Over Coffee” will be held in the Stratford Library’s Lovell Room beginning at noon on June 25th. Participants are invited to bring a bag lunch to the program and coffee and tea is also served.  Limited reading copies of Identical are currently available for loan at the library’s Check-Out Desk.  All “Books Over Coffee” titles are also available on Kindle and Nook eReaders for loan. A complete list of all the 2014 discussion titles is available at the Library and online.
