Book signing and Animal Adoption Event

On Saturday June 21st from 11am-3pm the Stratford Animal Rescue Society will be hosting a book signing to benefit animals at the Stratford Animal Control Facility, 225 Beacon Point Road. MEET ELLA, THE WONDER DOG (rescued from the Stratford Animal Control Facility), AND HER FRIEND JOE LANE, AUTHOR OF THE NEW POLITICAL THRILLER,AFTERSHOCK. Ella, Joe, and Joe’s wife Barbara completed a 3-week cross-country trip on their motorcycle last fall.You can meet and photograph Ella in her special trailer, and buy a personally signed first-edition of Aftershock.!In Aftershock., Penelope’s wonder dog Cinnamon rescues her from coma and ultimately enables Penelope and a group of eight equally tough, competent women to take bloody revenge upon the Wall Streeters and politicians who brought us the 2008 economic earthquake – while offering a future that will cut the rug out from under any who would do it again.There will be pets available for adoption at the event as well as items for sale in our Pet Boutique.
