"Birds & Butterflies" Topic of Stratford Library Sunday Afternoon Program

"Attracting Birds (and Butterflies) to your Yard and Garden
Frank Mantlik, Stratford resident, bird tour leader (local, US and International) and a published bird/wildlife photographer, member CT Ornithological Association and New Haven Bird Club. Birds need our help to provide food, water and shelter. We need birds help to control insect pests and rodents, to pollinate plants and disseminate seeds, to improve health of our gardens, farms and forests. Birds are indicator species alerting us to serious environmental health issues.
