'The choice is clear, voting for the Democratic ticket will return us back to the day of back door nepotism and uncontrolled deficit spending,' writes resident.

Bridgeport and Waterbury are ridiculed for their incessant habi(t)s of nominating unqualified and ethically questionable candidates for office.

The most recent examples being Joe Ganim who served in prison, Santa Ayala who doesn't know what an absentee ballot is from an absentee landlord, and recently elected State Rep Christine Ayala who should be in jail for voter fraud, residency fraud and domestic assault.

The Stratford Democratic slate is no exception.

First, they endorsed Andre Ely for the 4th district over the principled incumbent, Jason Santi. Then they endorse the Canns who have a history of litigation against the taxpayers, and now their 10th district candidate passed out campaign literature bribing people to vote for her.

My cousin who lives in the 10th district received the following literature (attached as a PDF) where the candidate, Tina Manus, is offering discounts to local bars and restaurants if they vote for her or consider voting for her.

This is a clear attempt of buying votes and the State of Connecticut has very clear laws prohibiting the material incentivizing of votes.

The choice is clear, voting for the Democratic ticket will return us back to the day of back door nepotism and uncontrolled deficit spending.
