A Wet, Windy Wednesday

Expect strong winds and heavy rain for the middle of your workweek.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for strong winds and minor tidal flooding around high tide for your Wednesday.

Stratford could see rainfall amounts up to three inches, which could cause significant urban and small stream flooding when the rain stops coming down tonight, according to the NWS.

The service is also forecasting for winds that could gust up to 40 mph, resulting in tidal departures from 1.5 to 2.5 feet above normal that can cause minor tidal flooding during high tide this afternoon.
