Stolen Package

(Posted by resident Jan. 28) Please let your readers know of mail thefts in town. I had a package stolen last Thursday from my porch. Stratford post office tells me carrier is 100% sure he delivered package and they also told me that there have been several mail thefts in my neighborhood the past few weeks and one witnessed by the mailman?? And how come we don't see that in the paper or did I miss it? So now i file a claim with SPD for what purpose? I'll call Party City but I'm out $$ which sucks big time. What are they going to do with baby shower stuff.

We are pleased to announce that the scholarship will now be acknowledged as the Thomas J. Williams Scholarship program in honor of our recently retired President.

Stratford Animal Control

(Posted Feb. 4) Hi My name is Dixie (click here to see photo of dog). I was taken away from my owners because they refused to provide veterinarian care for me. I was not properly cared for and I developed non-contagious mange. I'm in the right hands now and I am being fed properly and I'm taking the right medication. I should be good as new soon. I'm superfriendly and its hard to get a picture because I waggle so much. I get along with other dogs and I thrive on human attention. Please come meet me.
