Police from Woodbury and were among the law enforcement officials trained recently on investigations of terrorism, which in Connecticut.
According to the Wall Street Journal MarketWatch web site, the recent training program by the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT) and Connecticut P.O.S.T. Academy trained police department training officers on improved information collection techniques.
An MIPT official said investigations of terrorist events have shown that suspects have often lived in Connecticut or traveled through the state.
