A man was arrested by Bridgeport police this week after he attempted to take possession of a large quantity of marijuana, a much larger amount of drugs than police found in April.
According to the Connecticut Post, a Bridgeport police surveillance team raided a house in Bridgeport where a box containing drugs was delivered. They arrested Sean Morrissey, 36, of Cardinal Place, when he arrived to receive the box.
The Post said police found a total of 35 pounds of marijuana in the box and at Morrissey’s residence, plus an assault rifle and two handguns.
