Stratford Fireworks Slated for Sunday

The annual show starts at 9:30 p.m. at Short Beach Park. Come a couple hours earlier to see some live music.

The first sparks of Stratford's annual fireworks display will begin at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at Short Beach Park.

Before the bright lights fill the sky, two bands - Atwood Express and Lynn Lewis and Friends - will perform; Atwood Express takes the stage at 7 p.m., followed by Lynn Lewis and Friends at 7:30.

Parking is limited at Short Beach Park, but patrons can park in the south lot at the Stratford Army Engine Plant. At 9:15, traffic heading south on Main Street toward Short Beach will be stopped unless driver is a Lordship resident.
