Stratford Brakettes Reach Milestone for Manager John Stratton

The local women's softball powerhouse delivered its 1,000th win for its current manager in the first game of a doubleheader at home.

The Brakettes, which going back to June 2010, have hit another milestone.

According to an article by the Connecticut Post, the hometown women’s softball team scored its 1,000th win under Manager John Stratton on Thursday when they won the first game of a doubleheader against the Newtown (Pennsylvania) Rock Gold team at DeLuca Field.

The Brakettes won the second game of the doubleheader, too, which extended their current winning streak to 156 games.
