Sterling House Food Pantry Celebrates 20 Years
Now called the Resource Connection, the community center's assistance program provides many basic needs for families and individuals.
The Sterling House Food Pantry in , which in February, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
According to an article in the Stratford Star, the food pantry has added so many additional services since it started in 1992 that it is now known as the Sterling House Resource Connection.
During the year, the Resource Connection provides Thanksgiving food baskets, pet food, diapers, basic needs, food and clothing, as well as help with living accommodations, employment searches, child care, financial assistance and school supplies.
