Light Snow Expected Tonight into Saturday Morning

The snow will begin late tonight and could accumulate 1 to 3 inches by Saturday afternoon.

Stratford will receive a reminder, albeit a subtle one, that it is indeed winter.

Light snow is in the forecast for after 10 p.m. tonight, the National Weather Service (NWS) reports.

The NWS forecasts snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches by the time the small storm winds down at about 1 p.m. Saturday.

The chance of precipation tonight is 70 percent and the chance for rain, sleet or snow tomorrow is 90 percent. Saturday has a high of 37 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to return to the unseasonably high mid-40s next week, with a high of 48 on Thursday.
