Bridge Construction Might Spread Raymark Pollution

According to a Connecticut Post blog, Raymark Superfund site managers expect the monitoring wells for the contamination to be disturbed by the multi-billion-dollar bridge replacement project spanning the Housatonic River.
Their concern is that subsurface disturbance might release a toxic gas that could permeate the soil, release into the air, and find its way into the basements of houses.
