Birders Get Eyeful During Stratford Point Bird Walk

The Connecticut Audubon Society lists 28 bird species spotted during the event Tuesday.

Take a walk at Stratford Point, where a snowy owl was recently spotted, and bird watchers might see as many as 28 different species of birds.

That’s what was reported on a Connecticut Audubon Society blog about a Stratford Point bird walk the society hosted on Tuesday.

The bird walk was led by the organization’s Senior Director of Science and Conservation Milan Bull, Conservation Biologist Twan Leenders and Director of Education Michelle Eckman.
