Sterling House to Host Cartooning Classes

Cartooning Classes at Sterling House

Sterling House Community Center happily announces cartooning classes this winter.  Nationally syndicated cartoonist Frank McLaughlin, a Stratford resident, will teach six-week cartooning courses for youths and teens, beginning in January, At Sterling House Community Center, .During his career, McLaughlin drew Gil Thorp, Brenda Starr, Nancy and The World’s Greatest Superhero cartoon series, as well as for Marvel and DC Comics.

Sessions for youths will commence on Saturday, January. 14th at 10:30 am for students from first grade through sixth grades.  Classes for young adults ages 13 through 19 will start soon after at 11:45 am.  The fee for the cartooning course is $50.00 and Sterling House Membership is required.
