Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut Career Center Employees Recognized by Bridgeport Reentry Collaborative

Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut, a non-profit organization that provides employment and support services to people with disabilities and other challenges to employment is pleased to announce two Career Center employees are being recognized by the Bridgeport Reentry Collaborative.

This recognition was awarded to Tiara Lofton of Stratford and Jennifer Lynch of Naugatuck on Thursday, April 3rd at the Bridgeport Reentry Collaborative Reentry Awards Ceremony. These employees are being honored as individuals who demonstrate an outstanding effort in providing valuable services and improving career opportunities for former offenders seeking jobs.

“Goodwill’s team of experts draws upon a long and successful history of providing personalized one-on-one help for individuals seeking job assistance, said Vickie Volpano, President, Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut.  “Tiara and Jennifer are very deserving of this recognition and are valued by their customers for their caring and compassionate approach. “

Tiara Lofton is a Career Center coach who dedicates her time to working hands-on with individuals in need of guidance and support with their job search. Tiara was awarded Professional of the Year for bringing creativity, patience, motivation and talent to providing valuable services to former offenders.

Jennifer Lynch is the Program Manager overseeing 10 Career Centers, ensuring that Goodwill delivers that best possible services to community. Jennifer was awarded Community Partner of the Year as an individual that has demonstrated a commitment to creating opportunities for former offenders to succeed in their reentry.

The Bridgeport Reentry Collaborative works with local agencies that provide diverse reentry services to men and women returning from incarceration.
