Connecticut Home Purchase Loans

With the busy spring home buying season fast approaching I would like to share some thoughts to make a potential homeowner’s quest that much more efficient. I have been referred to a few customers in the last few months who during our initial conversation would mention that they just looked at a home over the weekend and wanted to put a bid in. My response is always “let’s get you qualified first”. It’s great to peruse the websites such as www.realtor.com or www.zillow.com but it’s all a moot point if one doesn’t qualify for a mortgage for the property.

A local Connecticut mortgage broker/lender such as Northeast Financial Mortgage will gather all of your pertinent information to see how much and what kind of terms you will qualify for. We will take your credit info as well as your work history/income into account. The down payment a customer has available will also factor in as well. After all of this information is taken we will discuss different programs and terms for the customer.

We have many different programs available such as Conventional, USDA ( for rural properties), FHA ( for those customers with lower credit scores), and V.A. Mortgages. Once we have qualified the customer, then and only then, is it a good idea to go on a website like www.trulia.com or consult with your Realtor.  Northeast Financial Mortgage works in conjunction with Realtors in order to facilitate a quick and comfortable transaction – we are all about getting your loan closed and helping you buy the house of your dreams.
