This week it's the eyesore at Hard's Corner that used to be occupied by a Exxon gas station.

Exxon is still paying taxes on the lot and there are no known potential applicants for the property, according to Neil Sherman, chairman of Stratford's Economic Development Commission.

Sherman said the recent approval of could play a role into how the intersection known as Hard's Corner is transformed.
