Readers' Choice: Stratford's Best Asian Restaurant

Everyone has that dish they love but what’s the best place to get it?

No matter what Asian dish is your favorite, Stratford has a few locations to please the palate. Here are some of the options, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments.

  • East Cafe
  • Dao

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner soon after. So vote who your favorite is and don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once in the survey.

Dao has the best sushi and the best atmosphere of the whole bunch.

Chinese Pavilion offers very good food at a reasonable price. The same owners have run the business for (my guess) 15 to 20 years. Hong Kong Cafe is good but overpriced.

Hong Kong Cafe is awesome. The price is right for good Asian food. I have celebrate my birthday twice there. The food is never disappointed. I personally think they are Best Asian Food around in Fairfield County.

Panda House in Ryder's Landing is our favorite. I'm surprised it isn't listed here. Consistently good food & the staff is great.

Lisa: I've added Panda House to the list and poll. You can now cast your vote if you like.

Very good food and great prices for takeout. And food is always ready in "5 min"!

The Mala Lamb is our favorite. I have never seen it any place else. If you dine in on a holiday, there is always a surprise "gift" for you. The last time we were there, we got a fantastic "bird" carved out of fresh vegetables. On another Valentine's Day, I got a long stemmed rose.

Will never go to Panda House again. When my daughter was in 1st grade at Second Hill Lane School, they had planned to have lunch there to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The owners ended up cancelling the event because the Connecticut Post would not be there. We have not been there since.

I agree--very hip, and great food. Hong Kong Cafe (despite the 'fusion') does have very fresh Sushi, too.
