CT Gas Prices Down, Lower Prices Forecasted

Connecticut and the rest of the nation could be seeing some relief from its high gas prices, says one analyst.

Gas prices in Connecticut remain well above $4, but dropped three cents to $4.07 in the past week according to ConnecticutGasPrices.com

The national average is down to $3.77, partly due to a decline in the record prices recently seen in California.

“The national average has again seen a decrease in the last week, as California joins much of the rest of the United States in seeing lower prices,” said Patrick DeHaan, analyst at parent company of ConnecticutGasPrices.com, GasBuddy.com.

DeHaan predicts prices will continue to decline.

“In the week ahead, we could continue to see declines as wholesale prices fell lower late last week, meaning gas stations have additional room to drop their prices,” he said.

Wow according to the great one the $1.83/ gallon gas price was due to an economy in the tank. Now with it over $4.00 / gallon we are to believe the economy is strong. Really ? This from the SMARTEST man in all 57 United States. So I guess if it goes down 3 cents things are getting bad again. Where & what type of advice does this chief executive receive & from whom? Is this a ludicrous conclusion, or are there a lot of dopes feeding on this bilge?
