Blue Sky Diner Owner Gives Update on Closing

'The estimated costs for the structural repairs and renovations have exceeded well over $200,000 dollars,' writes the owner in the following message to customers.

To all our loyal and faithful customers,

First of all please accept my sincerest apologies for not opening in the time frame that I said we would.

The reason for this is due to circumstances beyond my control. Currently we are waiting to close on a deal with the State for financial aid.

Rest assure, we will open soon. The estimated costs for the structural repairs and renovations have exceeded well over $200,000 dollars.

When we eventually open, we will be better than we were before. We could have stopped at just the structural repairs and opened. However, we felt that a renovation was necessary so that we could better serve our customers and provide them with a place they will feel comfortable dining in.

Our motto is "When you're here, you're family." We miss our customers as much as they miss us. We can't wait to be back and see all "Our Family" again.

Thank you again for all the heartfelt love and support. See you soon back at the diner you've all have come to love and patronize. The Blue Sky Diner!

Sincerely,

Nikos Avramopoulos
