PHOTOS: Restoring Stratford's 'White House'

Over the last few weeks, the nonprofit group Stratford Center for the Arts has been working to restore the Nicholl-Benjamin House, aka the 'White House,' which is at the entrance to Shakespeare Theatre.

Supporters of a revived Shakespeare Theatre say the 'White House' can be transformed into a not-for-profit center for the arts, which can display Shakespeare Theatre archives such as those showcased at an exhibition in Fairfield.

They also say the building can serve as storage and office space for activities associated with the theatre grounds.
