Festival! Stratford Sneak Peek: Community Theatre

The final installment of our 8-part story series previewing the upcoming arts festival puts the spotlight on local community theatre productions. Festival executive producer Jeffrey Lapham tells us more.

Community Theatre Productions

Part of the mission of Festival! is to celebrate the theatrical wealth that the Stratford area offers to the world.

Festival! Stratford is happy to welcome, this year, performances from some of the area’s best community theatres, including Milford-based Eastbound Theatre, Bridgeport Theatre Company, and Stratford’s own Temple Players.

These companies are at the core of a tight network that share a very active pool of actors and directors. We’re happy to provide them with this amazing stage and venue from which to offer selections of their best works to the public.

They will be appearing together in various combinations throughout the festival. On Sunday, Aug. 14, all three community theatre groups will be performing as part of a matinee that will start at 4 p.m.
