The latest forecast calls for five to nine inches of snow to fall in Stratford on Saturday, with snow coming down steadily between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 19. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 8 mph in the evening.

Saturday: Snow, mainly after 11 a.m. High near 23. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Saturday night: Snow before 11 p.m., then snow and sleet between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., then freezing rain after 2 a.m. Temperature rising to around 31 by 5 a.m. Blustery, with a northeast wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain and sleet before 10 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. North wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. West wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
