Worship on the Beach

Lordship Community Church, United Church of Christ, and First Congregational Church of Stratford will conduct their annual joint worship service at Short Beach, in Stratford, on Sunday, August 12th, at 9:00 a.m., weather permitting.  In the event this service is rained out, Lordship Community Church will conduct a worship service at 9:30 a.m. in its sanctuary. 

The community is welcome to attend this special service which is expected to feature music from local musicians.  Those planning to come are reminded to bring a beach chair or a blanket, and can bring a picnic snack.  Carpooling is encouraged and worshippers should tell the parking attendant they are attending the service. 

Backpacks and school supply donations will be accepted at the service to support the “Good Start” program run by Sterling House Community Center.
