Bridge Work Will Cause Lane Closures on I-95 in Stratford, Bridgeport
Project starts tonight and continues through next week.
Nighttime bridge maintenance on Interstate 95 will result in lane closures on both sides of the highway between exits 29 and 33 over the next week, the Connecticut Department of Transportation advises.
Work will begin tonight (July 22) and continue through the morning of Tuesday, July 30. The regular work schedule for the project is from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, according to the DOT.
"Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions," a release reads. "Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity."
