Mayor announces debate schedule
 
Stratford Mayor John Harkins has announced his participation in a robust schedule of candidate forums scheduled for this month.

On Oct. 11, Mayor Harkins will take part in a forum with the other mayoral candidates at Cablevision News 12. The recorded forum will air subsequently on News 12 CT.

On Oct. 17, Mayor Harkins will participate in a mayoral forum at Stratford High School. The event is sponsored by the the League of Women Voters, the Stratford Chamber of Commerce, and the Stratford Rotary.

Oronoque Village is sponsoring a candidate forum on Oct. 23 at Oronoque.

These forums are in addition to the PYE forum on Oct. 2 that was also attended by Mayor Harkins.

"It is important for voters to hear from the candidates on how they will lead our town as Mayor," said Harkins. "I am proud of what we have accomplished in my first term, and I look forward to an opportunity to exchange ideas on matters important to the residents of Stratford.
