Bring It to the Table Writing Workshop in Lordship

Reignite (or spark for the first time) your writing passion in this weekly writers workshop.Join Fairfield County’s newest group of artists, the Point No Point Writers! 

Come join Sheila Hageman, author of Stripping Down: A Memoir, for a writing workshop for beginners to more experienced writers. Open to all levels and all genres. Whether you’re looking to ignite for the first time or reignite your writing passion and commitment, this workshop is for you.

We’ll talk inspiration, craft and process. We’ll write and share our writing. We’ll share where we are and where we wish to go.4-week workshop begins Thursday, May 15, 2014, 6 – 8 pm. $100.

Workshop your fiction, creative non-fiction, memoir, and poetry on a weekly basis!

Sheila Hageman is a multi-tasking wife and mother of three who blogs for The Huffington Post and at Stripping Down. Her memoir, Stripping Down, February 2012, from Pink Fish Press, is a meditation on womanhood and body image. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Hunter College, CUNY, where she also graduated as valedictorian with her BA in English. She is a Yoga instructor and teaches Writing at Housatonic Community College and University of Bridgeport. She has extensive work in anthologies and magazines like Salon, She Knows, xojane and Writers Weekly. Sheila has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows including ABC News, NBC News and Anderson Cooper.
