For one Stratford family, the Nutcracker is a family affair; the Beach family will be performing with New England Ballet Company once again this year.
Ray Beach will be performing as Dr. Stahlbaum, his son Ray Beach Jr will be a father in the party scene and scaring Clara as the Rat King. Ray Jr's wife Sandy is a member of the ballet company and as well as playing a mother in the party scene she will be dancing as a Spanish and Flower soloist.
Ray and Sandy's daughter Makayla who attends the New England Ballet school will be onstage too in several roles; Fritz Friend, Soldier, Arabian child and Flower Corp.
All four have been rehearsing hard and you can catch one of their performances in Milford December 8th and 9th or at The Klein in Bridgeport on December 15th,
