Those who want to reopen the Shakespeare Theatre and save the historic 1785 Nicoll-Benjamin House on its grounds plan to march to Town Hall Monday, June 11, to deliver a petition to the Town Council.
Please join us for the “Save Our Heritage March on Town Hall” will begin at 6 p.m. Monday. Our group FORStratford.org and our supporters will march to Town Hall for the 6:45 p.m. public forum preceding the 8 p.m. Town Council meeting. We intend to deliver the signatures for our petition to have Mayor John A. Harkins and Town Council “unlock the doors of the theater and complete the planned repairs of the historic register landmark property known local as ‘The White House.’”
