Rove: McMahon had 40 mph wind at her back and came up short. I want to win.

Stratford, CT - Today the Shays for United States Senate campaign released this video of political strategist Karl Rove from last night's event in Greenwich in support of Christopher Shays.

"With all due respect," said Karl Rove, former Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, "[McMahon] ran last time and had a 40 mile per hour wind behind her back and came up short. I want to win this race and I think the guy who has got the ability to reach across lines and draw together the kind of coalition you need to draw together in Connecticut is Chris Shays," said Karl Rove, former Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush.
