Stratford Mayor John Harkins presents a check to Donna M. Jackson, Co-Founder of non-profit organization Emerge. Emerge works with women and their children who are referred from domestic violence and homeless shelters. They provide safe housing and support services to homeless survivors of domestic violence.
The money was raised at the Mayor's 6th annual charity golf tournament held on June 18,2012 at the Mill River Country Club. All the money raised at this event goes directly to benefit charitable organizations here in Stratford.
