Main Street Festival on Saturday, June 2

The and are again collaborating on the second annual Main Street Festival, sponsored by . The Festival will be on the Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We are expanding the Festival to include a few more vendors," said Diane Puterski, who represents the Rotary Club. "We are including West Board Street to accommodate more groups and organizations who want to inform people about their programs and do some fundraising in the process."

A sound stage will be on the West Broad Street green with entertainment throughout the day.

This year plans are being made to include more of the downtown businesses. Mary Dean, Executive Director of the Chamber, is working with the Rotary Club and some of the downtown restaurants to enhance the day and promote all that Stratford has to offer.

In addition to the vendors, there will be a carnival, car show, and art show.

The music lineup and tentative show times are:

Soul Potatoes  10 a.m.

Outside Chance  11:30 a.m.

Chris D'Amato (solo acoustic)  1 p.m.

The James Montgomery Band with Stratford's own David Hull of Aerosmith  2:30 p.m.
