Habitat 5K RUN FOR HOME - October 6, 2012

On Saturday October 6, 2012 Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC) with sponsor West End Lumber will host its 15^th Annual 5K Run for Home at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. This run will be timed by Hi-Tek Racing and features a fast and flat course that is USATF certified. Registration will begin at 8am and the shotgun start is set for 9:30am. All runners that register by September 24 are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. Walkers are also welcome to walk the course. Refreshments will be provided along with opportunities to win raffle prizes. All proceeds support the construction of Habitat CFC’s 8^th Women Build home. The Women Build program engages and empowers women to make a difference by building homes and communities. Women Build is addressing Fairfield County’s critical shortage of affordable housing by fundraising for and building its 8^th Women Build home for a well-qualified, deserving, low-income family.
