Children's Program presented by the Stratford Animal Rescue Society

On Saturday May 26th from 9am-12pm, children in grades 1-3 are invited to the Stratford Animal Control Facility, 225 Beacon Point Road in Stratford to participate in a fun filled program designed by the Humane Society of the United States and presented by the Stratford Animal Rescue Society to teach age-appropriate, standards-based academic skills and major character concepts—kindness, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and integrity—while reinforcing those ideas as they apply to our treatment of animals.

On this day children will get a tour of the Animal Control Facility, do a craft project and learn why it’s important to properly train and socialize pets by discussing solutions to problems caused by untrained pets. Program is free with a donation of pet food. Participants must pre-register: www.stratfordanimalrescue.com
