Stratford's Holiday Lighting Festival will be Tuesday, Nov. 27.
Come join Mayor John Harkins for an amazing evening as Stratford welcomes in the Holiday Season. Special guests this year include: Santa and Mrs. Claus, Stratford High School Acapella Choir, Vintage Brass Band, and Yuletide Carolers.
The event begins with a wonderful Puppet Show for the children at the Stratford Library at 4:30 p.m. Grab a free cup of hot chocolate and listen to the seasonal sounds of the Stratford High School Acapella Choir beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Stratford Town Hall. The Tree Lighting will be at 6 p.m.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Town Hall chambers directly after the tree lighting to meet the children and have pictures taken.
You can also get your holiday shopping started with Special Discounts offered by local Stratford shops. From Sunday, Nov. 25, to Wednesday, Nov. 28, an event called SHOP STRATFORD will feature special offers from participating businesses.
