Stratford’s Award-Winning 8th Graders Are Cited

Eighth grade students Ricardo Belizaire from St. James School and Emily Robertson from St. Mark School were recently honored with the 2011 St. Thomas Aquinas Award.
Ricardo and Emily received this award as a result of their academic excellence and exemplary values and community service.
Bishop William E. Lori recognized their achievement with medals of honor at the recent Breakfast of Champions Awards Ceremony, held at the Catholic Center in Bridgeport.
In the Fall, Ricardo Belizaire will be attending Bunnell High School and Emily Robertson will be attending St. Joseph High School in Trumbull on a Presidential Scholarship.
