This reader sided with comments made in a video released by state Sen. Kevin Kelly (R-21) that opposed Gov. Malloy's State of the State address. In his speech, the governor introduced school reform that would give the majority of funding to the lowest-performing school districts in the state. 

Milford: "I watch just for the acceptance speeches -- there is no group in the entertainment world more screwed up than musicians. East Haven: "These drivers have the lives of our children in their busses everyday!!!!! They deserve to be listened to when they report a safety issue. Come on Durham...give these drivers what they are asking for they deserve it!" School bus drivers in town might go on strike if contract negotiations fall apart. The drivers allege that their concerns about safety go unheeded.

There was an outpouring of support when news of a former teacher was missing. The man was found despite grave fears about his fate.
