According to a release from Lt. Frank Eannotti of Stratford's detective division: "The investigation began in early August when a female reported to Stratford police that she received an e-mail from an unknown male demanding nude photos of herself. When the female didn't respond to the email, Lisi sent her a photo of herself.

"It is unknown how Lisi obtained the photo. Lisi was tracked through Facebook and it was proven that Lisi was extorting a total of six females, two of which he actually posted photos on a pornographic website.
